Misanthropic blues

Sometimes you feel like you don't have no direction.
But then, neither do the others.
Those are the times when you are stranded, and the others have found it all.

Sometimes you feel like you know the direction.
And then, the others do not.
Those are the times when you are stranded, and the others have found it all.

Some times you feel like you've put in all.
And then, you also know the others did not.
Those certainly are the times when you are stranded, and the others have found it all.

Do you know why? Because they all are just mechanical parts of the world. They give what the world asks for.

You shall not fit in. Take leave, my friend! Go on, take your road. It's neither going to give you a friend, nor an easy path. Still, go on singing the misanthropic blues the best you can, because it will give you the feeling of content. Some day. Perhaps.

Yikes!

Okay, so I kind of felt that posting on this older blog in Japanese and English might make things too difficult, so I just created a new one.

I made one on Tumblr, because of the quick interface, but after posting I realized that there is just no thing like "comment"!

Argh. Annoying. Or maybe there is? I don't know am confused.
So I made one on Wordpress, because am sick of Blogger already and I do not want yet another blog on Blogger.

So, here it is!

日本語で!

It's been more than a year that I took up Japanese as my University major. My interest in languages (especially Japanese) has a long story behind it, and the only word to sum up the result for them is - obsession.
Yes, obsession. I might not have the highest grades, but I have an obsession - an obsession with my passion, and I doubt there would be anyone who would label this obsession a negative one.

So, since it's been more than a year (although it's just not even close to enough for a language as vast and wonderful as Japanese!) I have been debating in my head since a long time - should I start blogging in Japanese? If yes, should I do it on this blog itself? Or maybe, should I make a new one? Thanks to this debating, I never really got down to the posting - the victim of procrastination, the only thing I can picture.

Today, I stumbled upon one of my teacher's post on how blogging in Japanese can help - and how there already are people doing it! So yes, of course I went all bonkers about my procrastination.

Oh and then in a jiffy, here I am writing this. I really want to write in Japanese on this blog itself (a new blog will be too much - given that I am already juggling with 2-3 blogs), although it's not even a second thought that all my present readers (if there are left, any) would understand Japanese. Neither do I want them to use online translators (trust me, they are all pathetic and they are not even a single percent reliable - but then, that's what we are learning for! *evil laugh*)

Thus, the simplest solution I can think of - write in English as well as Japanese, in the single post itself. Of course, I am still not that advanced with my Japanese and I cannot express myself as good as I can with English or Hindi, but then it's always a long road to progress, nay?

My coffee is SO frothy!

I am obsessed with coffee. (Okay quite a lot of people are, meh.)
But I am obsessed with the art of brewing a cup of coffee more than drinking, so I keep experimenting with different coffee brands available in India (Indian/Imported) and with different styles of making a cup.

Anyway, I had come back from college today and I was really craving for a cup of chilled coffee and some nice food, triggered more by the heat and humidity. (The humidity in Delhi right now is anywhere between 85% - 100%)

But then, laziness is always a winner over desires, ain't it? I hadn't eaten anything since morning so my hunger forced me to enter the kitchen and I thought of making myself some macaroni. Nothing special, though. Just a quick boil and stir kind of. So I started off.

For the coffee, I went the usual way. I was planning to make ice-based cold coffee, but I was in a hurry because I was afraid I might burn the macaroni on stove, so I did it with ice a little less. So I was stuck with ice in the mixer with a LOT more than required for milk-based, but a little less than what I would add for a cup of coffee over ice.

Man. Don't I love myself for doing so! When I was pouring the coffee into my glass, I was stunned. The glass had a lot more froth than usual. (Usually I get something around 1-3 cm in the name of froth. This was more than 1/3rd of the glass!)

So yes, I am gonna post the pictures and tease you all! :D
After all, coffee at home ain't an easy task. :P

How your own hair can irritate you.

Yes. My own hair. All around me. (No no, not the way it is SUPPOSED to be around me, but literally 'all around me')

It's been  months that I have been going through hair fall, and I have stopped wondering what to do to bring a stop to it. I have another worry, instead - why ain't I going bald?

Wait. I am going off topic. So, yes. I was talking about hair all around me. (Yes, hair. Not hairsssss.)

So, thanks to this stupid hair fall, my room is full of hair strands in every corner. Especially my bed. And, since it is summer time, the fan is usually on full speed and all of these hair strands keep popping out from nowhere and start dancing right over the exposed areas of my body. How wriggly. How pathetic. ARGHHHH!

Yes yes yes. You got it right.
Trichophobia trichophobia trichophobia! *dies*

Also, I should let you know that this post is about nothing apart from the disgust, so you can stop right here and not mail me death threats after reading the rest of it. (Wait. I am not Mallika Sherawat. I guess you would not really mail me those, nay?)

*screams and shakes off another strand of hair from her feet*

So, what were we talking about? Yes. Alaska. It's beautiful, you know. It's on my travel wishlist. Japan is first, though.

Oh God. Why don't the post title and content match?

Ah, anyway. Let me know if you know some way to get rid of all these. I will love you forever.
